Description
This a is synthetic automatic transmission fluid with a special selection of top quality base oils and a specific additive package to ensure the smooth functioning of automatic transmissions of Mercedes-Benz. It is an ATF of the newest generation developed for 9-gear automatic transmissions of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It guarantees an excellent wear protection in every operating situation. This lubricant shows a very good lubricity even at low temperatures and has therefore a very low pour point. It has a high and stable viscosity index. Very good protection against corrosion and excellent friction characteristics. This ATF is developed for use in the newest 9G-Tronic automatic transmission of the Series W9A 700 by Mercedes-Benz, also known as NAG3 (New Automatic Transmission of the 3rd Generation). It should be used in MB automatic transmissions requiring the specification MB 236.17. It is backward compatible with the former MB 236.16.
